I keep a spreadsheet of every pass I do with notes about track prep and changes to the car. Doing so helps to see how modifications effect the car.
The first time I took the Mustang to the 1/4 mile was March 16, 2013 to Bradenton Motorsports Park. At the time I had the BBK long tube headers, off-road X-pipe, Borla ATAK axle-backs, 3.73 gear, DSS driveshaft, BBK throttle body, Airaid CAI, Eibach Sportline springs, Steeda LCAs, Koni struts/shocks and Bama tune. My best time of the day was a 13.636 @ 102.93 mph with a DA of 330 feet. The 60′ time was a 2.168.
The first time I broke into the 12’s was on January 18, 2014 at Bradenton. It was a 12.893 @ 108.39 mph with a DA of -598 feet. The 60′ time was a 2.008. It was right after this that I had the Circle D 5C torque converter installed. Ever since then I have run in the 12’s.
My quickest pass to date was on November 20, 2014 at Bradenton. It was a 12.527 @ 107.47 mph with a DA of -379 feet. The 60′ time was a 1.798.
My fastest pass to date was on March 29, 2015 at Bradenton. It was a 12.580 @ 110.42 mph with a DA of 170 feet. The 60′ time was a 1.795.
I have not been to the strip since installing the custom intake manifold. I would like to get the car into the 11’s naturally aspirated.
